Sports Massage

Sports massage is the manipulation of soft tissue to improve performance by preventing injury and encouraging muscle repair. It is a form of massage more commonly used by people engaging in regular physical activity as it is designed to assist in correcting imbalances in this type of tissue caused from strenuous activity and trauma. Soft tissue is connective tissue not hardened into bone or cartilage, including muscles, tendons, ligaments and skin.
