Charlie Bannigan

BSc (Hons) Osteopathy MSc Sports Injury Medicine

Find it, fix it, and leave it alone! That is the motto of successful Kent osteopath and sports injury specialist Charlie Bannigan.

Before becoming an osteopath, Charlie played semi-professional rugby, which is where he found his interest in sports related injuries and rehabilitation. This led him to study at the European School of Osteopathy from which he graduated in 2003. 

In 2009 Charlie continued his studies by completing a master’s degree in sports injury medicine and qualified in injection therapy in June 2012, 

Charlie opened Joy Lane Clinic in Whitstable in 2003, followed by a clinic in Strabane, Northern Ireland in 2005. In 2018 Charlie returned to Canterbury Rugby Club as Head of Medical.
