Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Jennie is a pelvic health physiotherapist who has predominately worked in the NHS and as of early 2020 went private in setting up her own business in pelvic health physiotherapy. Jennie's approach is specifically patient centered, working together with her clients to optimize their outcomes by targeting treatments to achieve their goals and functional requirements. Jennie applies her musculoskeletal and Pilates background to pelvic heath issues treating both ante and post-natal women for specific, pregnancy related, musculoskeletal pain conditions.
Jennie is passionate about treating pelvic floor dysfunctions in both males and females. She is experienced in treating pelvic floor dysfunctions including urinary and bowel continence problems, overactive bladder, prolapse, ante and post- natal problems, perineal tears, scar massage tears and c-section) and pre/ post prostatectomies. Jennie is also trained in treating more specialist problems such as sexual dysfunction, bladder pain syndrome (BPS), Chronic pelvic pain (CPP), Vulvodynia/ vaginismus and painful sex which she treats through education and advise, manual therapy, exercises, myofascial release techniques and stretches.
Jennie is an associate member of the Association of Pelvic Obstetric and Gynecological Physiotherapists
(POGP), a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and is registered with the Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
